CDSRail AssetWatch is a rail specific end-to-end Remote Condition Monitoring system comprising a range sensors, dataloggers, transmission systems, web server (Database Server) and user front-end software. It provides recording and real time access to a range of trackside systems via any PC with an Internet connection.
The hub of the system is the Database Server (DSS) and the AssetWatch software modules. The DSS captures, stores and analyses data from a wide range of CDSRail systems including Event Recording, Points Condition Monitoring, Rail Temperature, Power monitoring, Earth Leakage Detection systems and other rail-based monitoring systems.
The basic software pack which is standard with all CDSRail Database Servers provides the user with web-based access to all monitoring systems including data analysis, alarm management and configuration and management reporting. It comprises the following
Integrated Java Interface – This is the user console which provides access to a range of alarm configuration and system management tools from any internet enabled PC and does not require software installation on the host PC.
Mail Server – A software module that facilitates the creation and management of alarms via SMS and email as well as comprehensive management reporting.
Delphi Browser – The Delphi browser enables the download, display and analysis of event based data. This software is stored but not installed on the host PC.
- PCM Interface – If the server is used for PCM monitoring this interface is provided and allows display of PCM mimics and in depth analysis of system parameters including average and peak force, pressure, average and peak current , switch transition times, temperature and oil level. It provides access to analysis software that will display graphical trending and parameter profiles.
Event Replay – An addition to the Delphi Browser which enables replay of events captured via the DSS, direct connection to a datalogger or via removable media. The application and mimics are stored on the user PC but do not require installation on the host machine. The replay system provides full VCR controls with variable step timing.
Point Flick wizard – A very simple to use wizard that enable s the user to set up event based (using detection relay information) switch transition timing across all points on a specific site. The wizard will automatically pick out relevant detection relay and configure alarms based on time value entered by the user.
Track flick wizard – Identical in design to the Point Flick Wizard but automatically picks out all relevant track relays for a specific site and sets up track flick alarms based on time value entered by the user.
